This page walks you through the most common questions about MOM-entum: accounts, payments, uploads, your child’s app, and privacy.
Short answers first, with a bit more detail if you need it.
1. Getting started
What MOM-entum is, who it’s for, and what you need before you begin.
MOM-entum turns your child’s real schoolwork (tests, notes, review sheets) into a short,
focused practice app for one test or unit. It shows what they know, what they’re shaky on,
and gives questions that feel like what they see in class.
MOM-entum is designed for school-age children who receive written notes, study guides,
or tests from school. Right now it works best for elementary and high-school grades where
tests have clear questions, diagrams, and vocabulary to work from.
Yes. You create a parent account, verify your email, and then add your child. This lets us
connect their uploads, payment, and future practice apps in one place for you.
2. Account & login
For when passwords, emails, or sign-in links don’t behave.
First, check your junk/spam folder for an email from MOM-entum. If it’s not there:
Make sure you typed your email correctly when signing up.
Click “Resend verification email” on the login page, or start the sign-up again.
On the login page, click “Forgot password?” and enter the email you used to sign up.
You’ll receive a reset link. Follow the steps there to create a new password.
Yes. Your parent account can hold more than one child. Inside the dashboard you’ll be able
to add another child so each one has their own uploads and practice apps.
3. Plans & billing
How payment works and what you’re actually paying for.
You are charged after you choose a plan and confirm payment during checkout. Your payment
covers the review of your child’s materials and the creation of their personalized practice app.
All payments are processed securely through a well-known payment platform (Stripe).
MOM-entum does not store your full card details on its own servers.
Yes. If you start with a single-app option and later realize you need more, you can purchase
additional apps or a bundle. The bundles are designed for families who expect several tests
over the same term or have multiple children.
Because each practice app is built by hand from your child’s real materials, refunds are limited.
If something feels off or you believe the app doesn’t match what you sent, email
info@mom-entum.app so we can review and make it right where possible.
4. Uploads & files
What to send, how much to send, and what to do if uploads fail.
You can upload clear photos (from your phone), PDFs, or screenshots of:
Past tests or quizzes
Study guides, review packages, or homework sheets
Notes from class or slides shared by the teacher
The clearer the text and diagrams, the better the practice app can match your child’s real work.
For best results, each request should focus on one subject and one main unit or test.
As a general rule:
Up to 3 past tests for a “patterns of error” deep dive, or
Up to 3 units’ worth of review material for an upcoming test.
If you send much more, the app may need to choose which parts to focus on.
Your name and the email used for your MOM-entum account
Your child’s first name and grade
Which file needs to be replaced
We’ll let you know if we can swap the file before your app is built, or if a new request is needed.
Try these quick checks:
Make sure you have a stable internet connection (Wi-Fi is best).
Use clear, well-lit photos where the whole page is visible.
Avoid extremely large files; several smaller uploads are usually easier.
If a file keeps failing, take a new photo or save the document as a PDF and try again.
If it still doesn’t work, email us and we’ll walk you through it.
5. Your child’s practice app
What you receive, when you receive it, and how to use it.
Most apps are delivered within 24–48 hours after your materials are received and payment is confirmed.
During very busy periods, it may take a bit longer, but the goal is always to get it to you in time
for the test window you’ve told us about.
You’ll receive a message at the email associated with your account, and the app link will also
be available from your parent dashboard once that area is active for your account.
Each app is different, but you can expect:
A short strengths-and-needs summary in plain language
Practice questions built from your child’s real material
A mix of question types (multiple choice, short answer, matching, etc.), depending on the subject
Clear feedback so your child sees what they should revisit
6. Privacy & security
Who sees what, and how your child’s information is handled.
Your materials are used only to build your child’s practice app and to understand their learning needs.
Access is limited to MOM-entum and the tools needed to process your request. They are not shared
publicly or with advertisers.
Files are kept long enough to build and support your child’s app and to troubleshoot any issues.
If you would like your child’s data deleted sooner, you can email
info@mom-entum.app with your request.
Yes. Email us with:
Your full name
The email linked to your MOM-entum account
Your child’s first name and grade
We’ll confirm once their data is removed from active systems where possible.
7. Parent dashboard & FAQ access
Where to find everything once you’re logged in.
The dashboard is designed to be simple, even if you’re not tech-savvy. Over time, it will show:
Your children on your account
The status of each request (in review, in progress, ready)
Links to their practice apps and summaries
Some actions only unlock after certain steps. For example, intake questions and upload options
may stay locked until you create an account, add your child, and choose a plan.
This keeps each step clear and reduces mistakes.
Yes. The same “FAQ” link you see at the bottom of this page will also appear in the footer of
the parent dashboard, so you can always get back here with one click.
